Frequently asked questions.
What does the Ario Women’s Foundation do?
The Ario Women’s Foundation provides financial and emotional support to women facing hardship—especially single mothers and survivors of abuse—who are working to rebuild their lives. We offer short-term stipends, connect applicants to trusted community resources, and guide them toward long-term stability.
Who is eligible to apply for aid?
We focus on assisting women who are:
Experiencing financial hardship or temporary instability
Survivors of domestic abuse or other difficult circumstances
Single mothers or women supporting dependents on their own
Residents of New Jersey or nearby areas (priority given to local applicants)
Each application is reviewed carefully to ensure fair and compassionate consideration.
How can I apply for aid?
Visit our Apply for Aid page and complete the application form. We’ll ask a few questions about your situation and the type of assistance you need. After submission, our review team may contact you for additional information or a brief interview to verify eligibility.
What documentation do I need to provide?
Documentation requirements are minimal and flexible. Examples include a letter from a shelter, church, or community organization; a police or court document (if applicable); or a brief written statement describing your situation. Our goal is to make this process accessible and respectful.
How long does the aid last?
Approved applicants receive support for up to six months. Extensions or reapplications may be considered based on continued need and available funds.
Can I reapply after my aid period ends?
Yes. If your circumstances remain challenging, you may reapply once your initial six-month period has ended. Each case will be reviewed individually.
Will my personal information be kept private?
Absolutely. Your safety and privacy are our top priorities. All information shared with the Ario Women’s Foundation is kept strictly confidential. We never share your personal details or application materials with anyone outside our trusted review team. If you are in a sensitive or unsafe situation, we can take additional steps to protect your identity and contact information—just let us know in your application or email.
Are donations tax-deductible?
Yes. The Ario Women’s Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You’ll receive a receipt for your records after each contribution.
How can I donate or support your mission?
You can make a secure online donation on our Donations page. We also welcome partnerships, volunteer support, and corporate sponsorships. Every contribution—big or small—helps a woman take her next step toward independence.
How can I get involved as a partner or volunteer?
We are building partnerships with local churches, legal aid services, shelters, and educational programs. If your organization would like to collaborate, please reach out through our Contact page.
How can I contact you?
